Walking With Grief
Grief can live in the mind, it can live in the body, the breath, the chest, the belly, the places we hold and the places we avoid.
Walking With Grief is a gentle body-based approach to grief support that honours the deeply human experience of loss through presence, rest, breath, movement, reflection and compassionate witnessing.
Rather than asking grief to disappear, this work creates space to soften around the grief and loss that is being carried.
Some people arrive needing rest. Some need gentle movement. Some need to be seen. Some simply need a space where they don’t have to hold everything alone.
There is no right way to grieve. Only your way.

Massage for Grief (MFG) is a gentle extension of the Walking With Grief framework, a restorative massage experience created for moments when the body is carrying more than words can easily hold.
These 90-minute Registered Massage Therapy sessions are designed to support the nervous system through therapeutic touch, rest, warmth, breath, sensory care, and intentional pacing.
Whether you are moving through grief, burnout, life transition, emotional exhaustion, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the weight of being human, Massage For Greif offers a space to soften, slow down, and reconnect with yourself.
Each session is full-body and thoughtfully tailored.
Massage for Grief includes eight distinct session experiences, each designed around different nervous system needs and emotional states such as grounding, rest, movement, witnessing, connection, integration, compassion, and support.
Sessions may be chosen intuitively based on what feels most supportive in the moment, or experienced gradually as part of the broader Walking With Grief framework.
Sessions may incorporate:
• Therapeutic relaxation massage
• Grounding breath awareness
• Hot stones or weighted warmth
• Aromatherapy and sensory elements
• Gentle assisted stretching and mobilization
• Meridian-inspired massage flow
• Guided rest, visualization, or quiet integration moments
• and simple home-tending practices
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or tension patterns, Massage For Grief sessions are shaped around nervous system states and the body's need for support, safety, stillness, movement, connection, nourishment, or rest.
Massage for Grief is not about fixing grief. It is about creating compassionate space for the body to feel supported while learning to live with, move alongside, and soften around grief and the realities of being human.
